In addition to product costs, Valo Intranet requires services for implementation. If your organization already has the requisite IT skills, you can tackle technical implementation on your own; after all, it ain’t rocket surgery. Still, there’s something to be said for experience, and we definitely have that!
Implementation usually consists of:
- Information architecture design
- Intranet design
- Microsoft Azure configuration
- Train-the-trainer sessions
As part of project kick-off, we’ll conduct discovery sessions with your stakeholders to uncover the exact extent of implementation and customization required – but have no fear, it’s not all a custom effort. We’ve done enough implementations to have a pretty good idea of what it takes to get started, so you’ll get a fixed implementation price based on some fairly solid assumptions. In fact, we can get you up and running in about a week, assuming all the details are worked out quickly.
Managed Intranet Content Services
These ensure that your intranet content gets updated. There are two flavors:
- Initial content population service
- Ongoing content management service
Initial content population service cost depends on the size of the intranet. Book a demo (surprise!) to get a quote that’s relevant to your organization.
Ongoing content management service can be purchased in 3 month increments – the longer the subscription, the more cost effective it is!
Oh, and one more thing…
There are some automation components that need to be in place for all the bits to work. These automation components run in Microsoft Azure, and so there’s a small ongoing cost. How small? You can get started with under $20USD /month, and scale up if performance or availability requirements demand it.
The automation components are responsible for ongoing management of Intranet apps, and need to be in place for various add-ons.
